Daisy + Aaron Engagment
We love love love the Marin Headlands. Every time we go there, we discover a new spot - such as the batteries on top of the hill that overlook Rodeo Beach (where the above photo was taken). And luckily, Daisy and Aaron were such troopers trudging up the hill with us to scope out the views. They are getting married in just a few short weeks, and we are really excited for their wedding!

The only time I fancy myself a writer is when I do these blog posts. Here I am sitting at my desk, spinning tales of weddings and engagements and sharing all the fun we have with our couples in just a few sentences. Kara is actually a writer, and when she sits down to write, she is not pretending. The first time I met her (back in 2008), I had the chance to listen to her read one of her stories, and let's just say, I think I'll stick with photography.

Liz + Dan Engagement
We met up with Liz, Dan and their sweet dog Molly over the weekend at the Lafayette Reservoir, which I'm ashamed to say, is pretty much in our backyard and yet I haven't explored it. Kiki, Adm and I will have to make a point to check it out again soon, maybe later this week! Anyway, these two are clearly really cute together, and they share a love for the Oregon Ducks (their alma mater). We are photographing their wedding in October and can't wait!

Kristy + Dave Engagement
Just to give you an idea of how far behind I am on blogging, Kristy and Dave have now been happily married for more than four months, and yes, I will be sharing their amazing wedding here soon! Anyyyway, here they are pre-husband and wife looking very striking in some iconic San Francisco spots. My favorites are probably the ones in City Hall - I swear I could take pictures in that beautiful building every day for a year and not get tired of it. Dave is actually lucky enough to work in City Hall so he gets treated to those gorgeous windows all the time. I also love that Kristy's parents were married at City Hall and so we re-created her parents' wedding photo for their engagement session, which was super sweet. We've had the best time working with Kristy and Dave - throughout they've been so thoughtful and fun to be around.

So, Addie and Jon's session was one of our favorites, and I swear it wasn't just because they gave us raw cookie dough. We started their shoot baking cookies in the kitchen, and then wandered around the Presidio in San Francisco. Addie grew up in the Presidio, and it's so fun walking the neighborhood with a true local who knows where the random swing is or wants to wander through the old horse stables. Jon and Addie are getting married next May so stay tuned for their wedding!
