For 99% of our brides, the days leading up to their weddings are filled with nervous excitement and anticipation as well as stress over all those last little details and wanting to make sure that months of planning come to fruition.  Now, imagine adding to that emergency surgery just one day before your wedding.  No sleep, lots of pain, uncertainty and anxiety, a total nightmare, right?  BUT, you'd never know it to see Junie and Eddie walk down the aisle.
They say, "Love conquers all," and as cliche as it sounds, it seems so fitting for Junie and Eddie. Not only did their wedding prevail, but going through all that trauma seemed to bring them even closer together.
Junie and Eddie were married in November at the De Turk round barn in Santa Rosa with lots of loving family and friends around them. I remember that when I first met Junie and we started talking about props for her photo booth, she said, "Get whatever you want, I'm not that picky." Well, for someone who is not that picky, she perfectly executed a cohesive and lovely vision for her wedding. Everything from the flowers to the invitations to the favors (s'mores!) were so sweet and obviously well thought out!
We love these two and their wedding! Junie and Eddie, you are our heroes!

Happy New Year!!  Adm and I hope everyone's 2013 is off to a super start!  After taking a mini hiatus from blogging to celebrate the holidays, we've got a bunch of weddings from 2012 to share with you in the coming weeks and lots of fun weddings coming up in 2013.  So, without further ado, here are images from our dear friends, Kamika and Amy's Oakland wedding!

These native Midwesterners now San Franciscans wanted to treat all their traveling guests to a California weekend they wouldn't forget.  So, they picked a beautiful venue,

I don't know if I have made this clear before or not, but I am a total sucker for dogs.  Oh wait, of course I have!  So, when I found out that Winnie and Wallen planned for their two Corgi pups to make an appearance for their portraits I was a little bit excited. Why wouldn't you have the furry members of your family take part in your big day?

As Adm and I walked up the stairs to Kerri and Kevin's suite in Mill Valley, the first sound we heard was Kerri's infectious laughter.  It was the sound of happiness that wraps you in a layer of warmth.  Kerri and Kevin do not live small or quietly.  Their joy is the type that is bubbling over and shared with everyone around them.  Photographing their wedding was like being drunk on champagne.  In the best way possible of course.

Amanda and Matt had one of the MOST gorgeous days for their wedding at the Governor's Residence at Fort Mason in San Francisco.  It was so beautiful that it made their portrait session a breeze, not to mention that these two were so in love and just happy to be with each other outside.   I swear we could have wandered around Fort Mason taking pictures all day long.  But, they had a party to get to with friends and family who came from ALL over the country to celebrate.  Almost all of their guests were from out of town, and by the joy and laughter that filled the Governor's Residence, it was pretty evident that Amanda and Matt are dearly loved.
