So, we are blogging Michelle and Kevin's awesome San Francisco wedding almost in time for their one year wedding anniversary!  Yeah - aren't we the best bloggers ever?!  We're not behind at all!  ; )
But seriously, these two were so much fun to photograph. First, I'd be remiss if I neglected to mention that Kevin is a fellow Tar Heel (like me!), but since he and Michelle met while going to Cal, they had more of a Cal Bears color scheme going on instead of Carolina Blue. Don't worry, Kevin, I forgive you. Second, Michelle and her dad had the greatest father-daughter dance of all time! They choreographed the whole thing and busted moves from every genre - country to Beyonce to the waltz! And finally, we had a super fun portrait session with them that even involved trespassing - and getting caught for trespassing - with their bridal party. Their wedding had the perfect mix of elegance (it was at The Mark Hopkins Hotel after all) and fun since Michelle and Kevin know how to keep things light. Congratulations, we hope you two are loving married life!

You probably remember Lisa and Mike's

You may remember these two from their super fun

When Jacky and Aaron, who live in Kansas, started making their wedding plans, they knew they wanted to honeymoon in Big Sur.  Fast forward a few internet searches later, and they ran across

When I was younger, my everyday outfit consisted of leggings and matching tops from Lands End (thanks, Mom!).  There may or may not have been a pair of lavender corduroy shortalls involved that I may or may not have picked out myself.  As the youngest of three girls on my mom's side, my oldest cousin, Tammany, was always appalled by my fashion choices.  She used to ask her mom (my aunt), "Is Alison ALWAYS going to wear leggings and big t-shirts?!"

Laura and Ben are exactly the kind of people you want to be friends with.  They're super easygoing, nice, thoughtful, and fun to be around!  As wedding photographers, those are all qualities we love in our clients, oh, and that they're superduperheadoverheels in love with each other.  I swear we could have put these two in the middle of a trash dump and they would be happy just to be together.  Luckily, we did not resort to trash dumps but instead were treated to a gorgeous November Napa day with lush vines and beautiful oak trees.  There were many special moments on their wedding day, but I think my favorite was right after their ceremony when Laura and Ben exited the church and were completely taken aback by the mariachi band playing outside, a surprise organized by Laura's older sister.  It's obvious that these two are really close with their families and so photographing their wedding was like witnessing one giant love fest.
