Carina + Kevin Wedding
Last summer, we photographed Carina and Kevin's wedding at Silverado Resort in Napa. And I mean, just look at those two, could they be any happier? Their day was filled with so much love, beauty, and children. Hands down, this wedding had the most children of any we've ever photographed and it was so fun watching them take over the dance floor. Remember Addie and Jon? The ones who baked cookies in their kitchen for their engagement session? True to form, these two also made their wedding very much their day. They tied the knot at the Community Church of Mill Valley and then paraded (with live music, bubbles and streamers no less!) through town to their reception where a beer and cheese tasting bar (with everything selected by Jon) awaited them.
Addie and Jon also wrote letters to one another that they exchanged and read while we were photographing their portraits, away from their guests, next to a creek in the redwoods. It was such a sweet and special moment, I almost felt like I shouldn't have been there, except that those might be my favorite photos from their wedding. Congratulations, Addie and Jon!

Liz + Dan Engagement
We met up with Liz, Dan and their sweet dog Molly over the weekend at the Lafayette Reservoir, which I'm ashamed to say, is pretty much in our backyard and yet I haven't explored it. Kiki, Adm and I will have to make a point to check it out again soon, maybe later this week! Anyway, these two are clearly really cute together, and they share a love for the Oregon Ducks (their alma mater). We are photographing their wedding in October and can't wait!

Wow, I can't believe it's already Tuesday! We just returned from a truly magical weekend field tripping with about 350 other photographers in El Capitan. Such an inspiring experience and we feel so rejuvenated and can't wait to dive into doing some hard (and fun) work, but for now, we're exhausted so I'm going to keep this on the shorter side.

Lena + Alicia Wedding
So, Lena and Alicia know how to throw a wedding. Lena called me on a Tuesday to ask about photographing her wedding the following Tuesday, even though her bride-to-be Alicia hadn't yet confirmed she had the day off from work. Their friends and families totally rallied around them, and you know what, they pulled off one of the best weddings we've been to! Everything about the wedding was personal - they were married by their friend in the park next to their house. Lena rode into the ceremony on her bike with their two dogs by her side, and they partied the night away at their favorite local restaurant, Concetta.
