Kristen and Chris got married at one of our favorite Oakland hills wedding venues, Piedmont Community Hall. We've photographed a number of weddings here, and we love it for a few reasons: the ceremony site surrounded by old redwoods feels hidden and intimate, the courtyard makes for the perfect outdoor dining spot, and the hall is not your typical community hall but has beautiful architecture with floor to ceiling windows and wooden beams. Because it's also part of a park, there are about a million amazing spots for photographing couple's portraits, and we certainly took advantage of that with Kristen and Chris (check out that golden light down below!). These two and their families were so sweet and connected with one another which made for many beautiful and touching moments. Congratulations, Kristen and Chris!
