You might remember Sonja and AJ from their engagement session at the Stow House and old train station in Goleta, CA. Or should I say, "How could you forget them?" One of the things that seems to be pretty important when you pick your life partner is that you have a solid friendship with one another, and Sonja and AJ are knock your socks off best-friends who are in love and know how to make each other laugh.
Over Labor Day weekend, these two got married at The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, which was the perfect place to have their wedding. The setting was intimate and naturally beautiful, a place that perfectly fit their incredibly personal ceremony which was presided over by Sonja's uncle. In the backlight of the setting sun and shimmering leaves, Sonja got pretty emotional as she and AJ read their own vows to one another. It was a beautiful thing to witness and photograph. Once the ceremony was over, these two held nothing back as they partied the night away with their closest family and friends. Congrats, you two - we wish you loads of love and happiness!

You know the look that couples get in their eyes when they are sharing a special moment together? Well, we got to share a lot of special moments with Sonja and AJ during their engagement session. They have that way of looking at each other where you can that these two are brimming with love and passion for one another. Plus, they both have a great sense of humor, and check out Sonja's hair! Yup, it's all real (I asked). Lucky girl.
