Last weekend we photographed a gorgeous wedding at one of our favorite properties, Campovida in Hopland. While there, we realized we never shared the last wedding we photographed there, that of Katelyn and Ishaan, so today we’re going back a few years (!!) to give it its due on the blog. Katelyn and Ishaan’s wedding may be an oldie but it’s a goodie: they had a Western Sikh fusion wedding with not one but TWO ceremonies. They started the day with a baraat where Ishaan greeted Katelyn on a white horse whilst all his people danced and paraded alongside him. Next they held a milni in a stunning grape arbor. They took a midday break to rest before again tying the knot in front of Campovida’s iconic old oak tree and finally capped the night with loads of dancing under the stars.
Campovida is a large and lush property - perfect for providing a variety of places for all of Katelyn and Ishaan’s wedding activities. Their celebration was such a colorful, energetic and joyous one of two families coming together to share traditions and love. Happy (almost two year!) anniversary, Katelyn and Ishaan!
