Amanda and Matt had one of the MOST gorgeous days for their wedding at the Governor's Residence at Fort Mason in San Francisco. It was so beautiful that it made their portrait session a breeze, not to mention that these two were so in love and just happy to be with each other outside. I swear we could have wandered around Fort Mason taking pictures all day long. But, they had a party to get to with friends and family who came from ALL over the country to celebrate. Almost all of their guests were from out of town, and by the joy and laughter that filled the Governor's Residence, it was pretty evident that Amanda and Matt are dearly loved.
In such an elegant and historical space, their wedding could have easily been an incredibly formal affair, but Matt and Amanda created an event that fit perfectly with their fun and easygoing personalities while still showcasing the beautiful space. They had barbecue for dinner and kept the dance floor going all night long, plus there were lots of little ones running around to keep the adults on their toes. Congratulations you two, we wish you all the best!

We don't normally do this, but the other day, when we were just driving along, we saw this nice looking couple carrying a bunch of cute outfits walking along the side of the road and so we stopped to pick them up. Okay, not exactly, but Ashley and Tom were walking through Crissy Field carrying their clothes when we met up with them for their engagement session. From there on out, it was all fun and games as Ashley and I had to separate Tom and Adm a couple of times since they just wanted to talk about comics, and we all shared the most delicious and exotic milkshakes ever at

Our dear friends Amy and Kamika were married over the weekend! Much much more on that to come, but for now, enjoy some photos and the video from their photo booth! Need I reiterate that the photo booth is ALWAYS a big hit with guests of all ages? Backdrop made by

Gosh, remember these
Why is it that some of our most memorable engagement sessions always include some kind of injury? Well, we can add Junie and Eddie's session to that list as Adm came away from the shoot with a big lump and bruise on his forehead. If you check out the ice cream photos at the bottom of this post, you'll notice that one is from a super high angle - that would be me shooting while on top of Adm's shoulders. Pretty impressive, eh? Unfortunately for Adm, during my climb to the top, I forgot to hold onto my cameras which ended up conking him in the head. Oops. Luckily, I was able to somewhat crawl my way out of the doghouse by immediately treating it with a delicious ice cream cone.

I don't know about you, but I love going to the river, drinking wine, photographing in great light, and walking along the waterfront. For most people, all these things would make for a packed weekend, but for Kerri and Kevin, it was just their engagement session. We started in Sausalito for some waterfront pictures near
